It seems like there are
still many bloggers who ignore Google's reference to add or submit all types of
HTTPS, HTTP, WWW, and non-WWW URLs in Google Search Console.
Just realized after perusing
the message in Google Search Console that we must create properties from all
types of URLs of our blog.
So for Bloggers (who don't
use HTTPS), they must add 2 properties in Google Search Console to the URL as
follows:
1. Create a property for the
URL http://www.domain.com/
2. And also make a property
for the URL http://domain.com/
This also applies to Blogger
who does not use a custom domain (which still uses the blogspot domain) and has
HTTPS enabled.
1. Create a property for the
URL http://domain.blogspot.com/
2. And also create a property
for the URL https://domain.blogspot.com/
Blogger now supports HTTPS
for custom domains, if you have enabled HTTPS for custom domains, you have to
add 4 Google URL properties in the Google Search Console. Likewise for
Wordpress, if you use Wordpress and use HTTPS, then you have to add 4
properties as follows (if not, then do as above as for non-HTTPS Bloggers):
1. Create a property for the
URL http://www.domain.com/
2. Create a property for the
URL http://domain.com/
3. Create a property for the
URL https://www.domain.com/
4. And also make a property
for the URL https://domain.com/
Then in each property please
submit a sitemap by adding sitemap.xml to the submit sitemap column. For
bloggers you can also add feeds / posts / default
Then the next thing to do
after creating a property for each URL, please choose whether you want your
site to appear with or without "www" on Google Search. Use the
version that matches the blog's canonical URL, for Blogger please choose the version
that uses "www".
That way Google will more
fully display blog statistics from all types of URLs https or http and www and
non-www.
And for those of you who don't understand what HTTP and HTTPS are, there is an interesting article to look at about the meaning, differences, and benefits of using HTTPS. Please see the difference between HTTP and HTTPS on the following link:

UPDATE:
Now Google provides a new
way as an alternative to submit a blog on Google Search Console, namely with a
domain with DNS verification.
